Facebook just removed everyone’s email address from their profile and replaced it with an @facebook.com email address without asking you. Here’s how to easily fix the problem.

If you were looking for another reason to delete your account…

“Hey guys, we failed miserably at making our own email service, so let’s just force everyone to have their facebook email address that we forced on them shown publicly without even asking.”

Reason #45873486542376752465 I don’t have a facebook
Click the link, too. Good read.

why would you publicly display your e-mail?

Well, I only let certain people see my Facebook, and some of them I work with on things…so it’s kind of like a “business” contact for me in some ways. It’s weird that they would scrape off your actual email address, and put your messaging account for FB on there, because well, it’s just not the same as an email, and since you’re already on FB, obviously you could just message the person on there.
